Theta-Meter e-meter on the TV screen

There are several ways in which we can connect Theta-Meter e-meter to TV.

In this article, I will give a few options to connect the e-meter to the TV.

So, the very first way is to connect a laptop or computer with a video card with HDMI interface to a TV and broadcast the laptop/computer screen to the TV. In this case, you will use the laptop's mouse and keyboard to control the interface of the e-meter program. This is the simplest and most convenient connection option.

The next option is to connect the Theta-Meter bluetooth e-meter to a TV with a bluetooth interface. Launch Chrome browser or any other Chromium browser, type www.e-meter.online/bluetooth/ in the address bar, the e-meter interface starts, click Connect, select Theta-Meter bluetooth in the list and the arrow starts moving on the screen. This option should probably work on TVs with Google TV operating system. Will it work on your particular TV? You need to check and as a developer, I can't guarantee that this option will work on your particular TV.

And the third option, the most universal - connecting Theta-Meter e-meter with Theta-Meter with Wi-Fi interface, which already contains a browser version of the program for the e-meter, using an external Andriod TV - a small box with a microcomputer adapted for showing video and TV with Android TV operating system. Let's show this variant on the example of Xiaomi Mi box S.

Mi TV S is connected to the USB 3.0 port of Samsung TV, Theta-Meter with Wi-Fi connection (you can se in here) and its own access point is connected to the USB port of the set-top box, to which the TV set-top box itself is connected via Wi-Fi, Yandex browser is running on the set-top box and the browser version of the e-meter program is opened in it (IP address for connection in the browser is 192.168.100.111).

As a result, we see this e-meter interface on the screen:

This is how it works:

Now let's summarize the results.

It is quite possible to work with Theta-Meter on a TV set, especially it is convenient to do it for lectures or demonstrating the work of the e-meter to a large group of people. If you connect a keyboard and an external mouse to Android TV, the work will be quite comfortable.

I wish you success in your sessions!
